Evangelism Trip Panyana, Sudan
In April, 2003 Rev. Manoah Alimasi Modi and his 9 person evangelism team traveled 42 miles south of Yei to Panyana, Sudan. Bishop Taban did not go on this trip because he was in Rokon on an evangelism trip. The team left Yei, Sudan on March 31 and returned on April 12. The JESUS Film was shown in the Bari language on a large television. During this evangelism trip a total of 7,015 people were born again as new believers in Jesus. The newly born again included the chief of the village and a number of the village elders. Approximately 40% of the new believers had been animists. One new Presbyterian church will be started in Panyana for some of the new believers. The Kaliko tribe was reached during this trip.
Regarding follow-up, some of the new believers were handed over to the Episcopal Church of Sudan (ECS), some to the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and some will join the new Presbyterian church. The evangelism team distributed 100 Bibles in the Bari language to born again believers who could read.

| Food and accommodations for Evangelists | $500 |
