In October, 2005 Evangelist John Sebit and his 11 person evangelism team traveled to Nadiangere, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on October 10 and returned on December 9.
During this two month trip, 20,000 people indicated decisions for Christ. Because of insecurity in this area, the team concentrated on small villages around Nadiangere Township. People walked as many as 5 days (75 miles) to reach our JESUS film shows and training center sites. Approximately 60% of the new believers had been animists, and 4% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Zande language to the Zande tribe. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 200 bibles were distributed in the Zande language.
The main theme of the discipleship training was on the Master and His miracles.
