In March, 2006 Pastor Samuel Amule and his 9 person evangelism team traveled southeast to the Biyale and Kiryandong refugee camps in Uganda. The team left Yei, Sudan on March 15 and returned on May 5.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:
| Village |
Indicated Decisions For Christ |
| Camps 1-5 |
7,500 |
| Kiryandong |
2,000 |
| Total |
9,500 |
Approximately 40% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. Also about 60% of the new believers were Ugandans. The remainder of the new believers were Sudanese refugees. One new church was planted in Biyale. This is the second church that our teams have planted in Biyale. EPC Uganda, the Church of Uganda, and the Pentecostal Churches of Uganda will be in charge of the majority of the follow-up work with the new believers. A total of 500 bibles were distributed with 250 bibles distributed in each of the Acholi and Madi languages. The team reported that many sick people were healed after the team prayed over them.
