Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists. Also, approximately 60% of the new believers were refugees who had returned to these areas in the last 3 years. The JESUS Film was shown in the Bari and Lingala languages to mostly the Kakwa, and Mundu tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), the Sudan Pentecostal Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the Community Evangelical Church of the Congo (CECA). A total of 400 bibles were distributed with 200 bibles in the Bari language and 200 bibles in the Lingala language.
Our discipleship training concentrated on the theme The Fellowship of All Believers. The team used the following scriptures in training: 1 Corinthians 3:3-9, 6:19-20, 12:18-27; Ephesians 2:4-6, 19-22; 1 Peter 2:5,9, 3:8-9; Matthew 12:30,49-50, 18:20-22; John 13:13-17, 17:20-23; Mark 9:38-42; 1 John 1:6-7; Psalm 133:1-3; Galatians 3:28-29; Acts 1:8.
