Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists and 3% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Moru language to primarily the Moru tribe. Two new churches were planted. One church was planted in Ngode, and one church was planted in Gira. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 400 bibles were distributed in the Moru language.
This area of Sudan had been badly affected in past times by tribal wars. The area was also badly affected during the recent war. Hearing the gospel from our team was a heart healing time for the people.
