Evangelism & Discipleship Training Trip Bor, Gemmeiza, Malek, Werkok, Makol Cuei, Baidit, Yamoiir, Paliau, Kongor, Panyagor, Sudan
In February, 2007 Bishop Elias Taban and his 10 person evangelism team including Evangelist John Chol traveled northeast to Bor, Gemmeiza, Malek, Werkok, M Cuei, Baidit, Yamoiir, Paliau, Kongor, and Panyagor, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on February 27 and returned on March 29.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 5% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Dinka language to the Dinka tribe. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 1,500 bibles were distributed in the Dinka language.
The team reports that the town of Bor suffered major destruction during the war. Even the bricks from destroyed buildings were taken away.
Discipleship follow-up training was conducted on How to Overcome the Devil. The following verses were used in this teaching: James 4:7-8; Luke 10:18-19; 1 Peter 5:8-10; Psalm 91:3-7, 121:7-8; 1 John 3:8; Philippians 4:7-8; 1 John 4:1-4; 1 Corinthians 2:10-11; Ephesians 4:26-27; 1 Timothy 4:18; Romans 8:37; Hebrew 2:18 and many more.
