Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Arabic language with a local language interpreter to the Tabosa tribe. One new church was planted in Natinga. The team reported that the new churches that the previous team planted in October 2006 in Keyala and Laryok are doing well and growing. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the African Inland Church.
Discipleship follow-up training was conducted on Death and Eternal Life. The following themes and verses were used in this teaching:
- The believer can face death without fear (Psalms 23:4).
- The believer will dwell in Gods home forever (Psalms 23:6).
- For the believer to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21-26).
- Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints (Psalms 116:15).
- Those who die in the Lord are blessed (Revelation 14:13).
- The Lord will come again and bring those who have died in Him (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
