Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Arabic language with a local language interpreter to the Lokoya, Lotuko, and Didinga tribes. Two new churches were planted in Lokiliri and Omio. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, the African Inland Church, and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 100 bibles were distributed in the Arabic language.
Discipleship follow-up training was conducted on Death and Eternal Life. The following themes and verses were used in this teaching:
- The believer can face death without fear (Psalms 23:4).
- The believer will dwell in Gods home forever (Psalms 23:6).
- For the believer to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21-26).
- Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints (Psalms 116:15).
- Those who die in the Lord are blessed (Revelation 14:13).
- The Lord will come again and bring those who have died in Him (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
