In December, 2007 Pastor Martin Wani and his 9 person evangelism team visited the villages surrounding Yei, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on December 15 and returned on December 30.

Approximately 50% of the new believers had been animists, and 2% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Arabic and Bari languages to the Kakwa and many other tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, African Inland Church, Church of God, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 200 bibles were distributed in the Bari language and 200 bibles were distributed in the English language.
