Evangelism Trip Alek, Panliet, Wunrok, Mayen, Abun, Baar, Atak, Sudan
In January, 2008 Evangelist Mayen Kur and his 9 person evangelism team traveled north to Alek, Panliet, Wunrok, Mayen, Abun, Baar, and Atak, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on January 10 and returned on February 15.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 75% of the new believers had been animists, and 15% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Dinka language to mainly the Dinka tribe. Four new churches were planted in Alek, Wunrok, Abun, and Baar. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 600 bibles were distributed in the Dinka language. The team reported that the Lord enabled them to heal many sick people. Also, many new believers destroyed their items of witchcraft.
