In February, 2008 Evangelist Agok Akon and his 9 person evangelism team traveled northeast to Obel, Bailiet, Nagdiar, and Doma, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on February 9 and returned on March 5.

Approximately 50% of the new believers had been animists. The JESUS Film was shown in the Nuer language to mainly the Nuer tribe. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Presbyterian Church of Sudan. Discipleship follow-up was conducted during the day and evangelism was conducted at night. A main topic of discussion was “Understanding the Nature of the Church.”
