Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Aweil, Udhum, Wedweil, Yargot, Akuem, Sudan
In November, 2008 Evangelist Simon Kual and his 9 person evangelism team traveled northwest to Aweil, Udhum, Wedweil, Yargot, and Akuem, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on November 10 and returned on December 9.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists and 10% were Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Dinka language to mainly the Dinka tribe. One church was planted in Udhum. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 300 bibles were distributed in the Dinka language.
Discipleship training was conducted on “Thankfulness” using the following verses: Psalm 147:7, 1 Chronicles 16:34, Luke 17:16, 1 Corinthians 15:57, 2 Corinthians 9:15, Colossians 2:7, 4:2.
