Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip Duk Fawiel, Poktap, Duk Padiet, Ayod, Wau Ayod, Mogok, Sudan
In November, 2008 Evangelist Paul Abal and his 9 person evangelism team traveled north to Duk Fawiel, Poktap, Duk Padiet, Ayod, Wau Ayod, and Mogok, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on November 10 and returned on December 8.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists and 5% were Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Nuer language to mainly the Nuer tribe. Two churches were planted with one church in Duk Padiet and one church in Mogok. Follow-up of the new believers will be handled by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 600 bibles were distributed in the Nuer language. The team reported that some people who had stolen cattle repented and announced that they would return the cattle to their owners.
Discipleship training was conducted on “Thankfulness” using the following verses: Psalm 147:7, 1 Chronicles 16:34, Luke 17:16, 1 Corinthians 15:57, 2 Corinthians 9:15, Colossians 2:7, 4:2.
