Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Omio, Loronyo, Lafon, Imehejek, Iboni, Sudan
In February, 2009 Pastor John Lotri and his 9 person evangelism team traveled east to Omio, Loronyo, Lafon, Imehejek, and Iboni, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on February 15 and returned on March 11.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists, and 5% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Acholi language with translation to the Lopit and Lotuko languages to mainly the Lotuko, Lopit, and Tabosa tribes. One new church was planted in Lafon. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 300 bibles were distributed with 100 in the Acholi language and 200 in the English language.
Discipleship training was based on the following verses: Exodus 15:2, 2 Samuel 22:3, Psalm 37:39, Isaiah 33:6, Luke 3:3-6; 19:9-10.
