Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Bari language to mainly the Bari and Lokoya tribes. One new church was planted in Mongala West. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 300 bibles were distributed in the Bari language.
The team reported that they worked for peace between two groups that were fighting over cattle. Three people, whose relatives were killed in the fighting, promised not to seek revenge on their relatives’ killers.
