Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists, and 15% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Nuer and Dinka languages to mainly the Nuer, Anyuak, Murle, and Dinka tribes. One new church was planted in Anyidi. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the African Inland Church, the Presbyterian Church of Sudan, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 700 bibles were distributed with 500 bibles in the Nuer language and 200 bibles in the Dinka language.
The team reported that an armed cattle rustler repented and accepted Christ. He promised to return the 180 cows he had taken from a Dinka village.
Discipleship training was based on the following topics:
- Authority of Scripture - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- Fellowship With God and Other Believers - 1 John 1:3
- Witnessing for Jesus - 1 Peter 3:15
- The Obedient Christian - John 14:21
