Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Muni, Tombe, Awerial, Bunagok, Madbar, Tali Post, Tindilo, Rijong, Terekeka, Sudan
In July, 2009 Evangelist Pitiya Lomuro and his 9 person evangelism team traveled north to Muni, Tombe, Awerial, Bunagok, Madbar, Tali Post, Tindilo, Rijong, and Terekeka, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on July 19 and returned on August 15.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Bari language to mainly the Bari speaking tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 400 bibles were distributed in the Bari language.
Discipleship training was based on the topic of “Comfort and Hope”. Some of the verses used in this teaching were Psalms 23:1,4; 34:18; Isaiah 40:11, 54:10; Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 28:20.
