Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Cueibet, Aguka, Tonji, Kuajina, Mbili, Wau, Sudan
In September, 2009 Pastor Joseph Arop and his 9 person evangelism team traveled south to Cueibet, Aguka, Tonji, Kuajina, Mbili, and Wau, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on September 17 and returned on October 20.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Dinka language to mainly the Dinka tribe. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. One new church was planted in Aguka. A total of 500 New Testament Dinka bibles were distributed.
Discipleship training was conducted on “comfort and hope”. The following verses were used as the primary texts: Psalm 23:1-4, 34:18, 46:1; Isaiah 40:11, 40:31, 41:10; Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 28:20.
