Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Limbe, Limuro, Wuji, Dongoro, Kala, Kansuk, Sudan
In November, 2009 Pastor Marcelo Lumori and his 9 person evangelism team traveled east to Limbe, Limuro, Wuji, Dongoro, Kala, and Kansuk, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on November 17 and returned on December 15.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 60% of the new believers had been animists, and 2% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Bari languages to mainly the Kakwa, Pojulu, and Kuku tribes. One new church was planted in Wuji. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and the Sudan Pentecostal Church. A total of 400 Bari bibles were distributed.
Discipleship training was conducted on “Knowing the Living God”. God reveals himself in more than one way. Even in his names he reveals the fullness and majesty of his being. Each name reflects something different. Here are some of the names of God.
- Elohim-God
- Jehovah-Lord I Am Who I Am
- El Shaddai-The Almighty
- El Elyon-The Most High
- Jehovah Sabaoth-The Lord of Hosts

- God is Omniscient (all knowing), Omnipotent (Almighty), Omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time)-Psalms 139
- God is the creator and sustainer of all things-Romans 11:36
