Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Yirol County, Sudan
In February, 2010 Evangelist Michael Lumori and his 9 person evangelism team traveled north to Yirol County, Sudan. The team left Yei on February 9 and returned on March 7.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 5% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Dinka language to mainly the Dinka tribe. One new church was planted in Abuyong. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 600 Dinka bibles were distributed.
Discipleship training was conducted on “The Work of the Holy Spirit.” Some of the works of the Holy Spirit are listed below:

- The Holy Spirit leads us to holiness-2 Thessalonians 2:13
- The Holy Spirit intercedes for us-Romans 8:26
- The Holy Spirit teaches us to pray-Romans 8:15, 26, 27
- The Holy Spirit leads us to bear fruit-Galatians 5:22
- The Holy Spirit binds all believers into one body-1 Corinthians 12:13
- The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts-1 Corinthians 12:11
- The Holy Spirit works out our sanctification-John 16:13-15, 2 Thessalonians 2:13
