Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Kacheri, Kotido, Panyangara, Koloseri, Nariwo, Uganda
In April, 2010 Evangelist Barnabas Amidi and his 9 person evangelism team traveled east to Kacheri, Kotido, Panyangara, Koloseri, and Nariwo, Uganda. The team left Yei on April 12 and returned on May 15.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 75% of the new believers had been animists. The JESUS Film was shown in the Swahili language translated to the Karamojong language to mainly the Karamojong tribe. One new Pentecostal church was planted in Nariwo. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Uganda, and the Pentecostal Church of Uganda.
Discipleship training was conducted on “Some Things We Know About Our Life in Heaven.” Some of the topics that our team taught about are listed below:
- We will live and walk in an extremely close, personal relationship with God. To be with someone who loves you more than you can ever imagine and created you for Himself, will be truly Heaven- 1 John 2:5-6; Eph 3:18; Rev 3:12.
- We will adore and glorify God completely-Rev. 21:3-5.
- We will know Christ our Lord forever-Phil 1:23; 1 Cor 15:49; Rev 3:4, 21; 1 Thess 4:17.
- We will know God completely-1 Cor 13:12.
- We will experience communion with God, His angels and all the saints- Phil 3:20; 1 Peter 1:4; Rev 7:9, 19:16, 21:3, 22:3-4.
