Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Aba, Faradje, Dungu, DRC
In June, 2010 Evangelist Michael Alias and his 9 person evangelism team traveled west to Aba, Faradje, and Dungu, DRC. The team left Yei on June 13 and returned on July 5.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 5% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Lingala language to the Kakwa, Mundu, Logo, Zande, and Avokaya tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Pentecostal Church of Congo, and the CECA. A total of 200 Lingala bibles were distributed.
Discipleship training was conducted on “Keep Your Eyes Upon Jesus and You Will Overcome What Seems Impossible in Your Life”. Matthew 14:22-33 and Jeremiah 17:7 were used in this training.
